Blueprint also develops and manufactures products for the food industry. In 2022, we were tasked by a meat products customer to create a new mold for block salami.
Existing plastic molds were deteriorating, becoming porous and brittle, leading to quality issues in the finished product.
Blueprint developed a new stainless steel mold. This mold is significantly more durable and stable than the previous plastic mold. It's also easier to clean and sanitize.
The new mold was introduced into production in 2023 and has been very well received by our meat processing customers. It's much easier to handle and ensures consistent quality of block salami.
