General information on data processingWe process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users regularly takes place only with the user's consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law. Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations of personal data, Art. 6 (1) (a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis. When processing personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations required to carry out pre-contractual measures. Insofar as processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR serves as the legal basis. If processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not override the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.

Provision of the website and creation of log files

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer. The following data is collected: Information about the browser type and version used, the user's operating system, the user's internet service provider, the user's IP address, date and time of access, websites accessed by the user's system via our website. The data is also stored in the log files of our system. Storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimize the website technically and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data also only takes place for this purpose. The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session. The legal basis for the storage of the data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose of its collection. In the case of collecting data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

Use of cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in the internet browser or by the internet browser on the user's computer system. When a user visits a website, a cookie may be stored on the user's operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that enables a unique identification of the browser when the website is called up again. Some elements of our website require that the calling browser can be identified even after a page change. The user data collected by technically necessary cookies are not used to create user profiles. The purpose of using technically necessary cookies is to simplify the use of websites for users. Contact form and e-mail contact

Our website contains a contact form that can be used for electronic contact. If a user takes advantage of this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. Alternatively, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided in the imprint. In this case, all personal data of the user transmitted with the e-mail will be stored. Please remember to transmit sensitive data only with sufficiently secure encryption; data will not be passed on to third parties in this context. The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in the targeted and effective answering of incoming inquiries. If the inquiry relates to the initiation or conclusion of a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR is the legal basis for processing. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose of its collection. For the personal data from the input mask of the contact form and those sent by e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the relevant facts have been finally clarified.  

Use of Google Maps

Provided you give your consent, we use Google Maps to visually display geographical information. The data obtained from this is used to optimize our website and advertising measures. Google Maps is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The legal basis for data processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes, and uses data about visitors' use of the map functions. Webflow Hosting

We host our website with Webflow. The provider is Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA (hereinafter: Webflow). When you visit our website, Webflow collects various log files, including your IP address. Webflow is a tool for building and hosting websites. The use of Webflow is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in presenting our website as reliably as possible. If appropriate consent has been obtained, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Data transmission to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Webflow.

We use the cookie consent tool provided by Finsweet to obtain your consent for storing certain cookies in your browser and to document this in compliance with data protection regulations. When you visit our website, a cookie is stored in your browser, which saves the consents you have given or the revocation of these consents. Data protection when using social media

Since we are represented with our content on platforms, we would like to inform you here about data processing in connection with platforms, as far as we are aware of this and can influence it. When we open a profile or a channel on a platform, the operator sets cookies as soon as a user visits the profiles or channels. The platform operators collect personal data from users using cookies or other technologies in order to evaluate user behavior. This applies in particular if you are already registered on these platforms. More information on this can be found in the respective privacy policies of the platforms. We only receive evaluations of the use of our content from the platform operators in anonymized form.
